Council of International Schools
CIS leads a collaborative global membership community of schools and higher education institutions by researching and developing effective practices to promote healthy, interculturally competent global citizens. We connect ideas and cultures around the world by developing socially responsible leadership through international education.
CIS International Accreditation is a mark of quality assurance and distinction for primary and secondary schools. As an international accreditation body, we enable schools to benchmark the quality and development of their educational programs against leading international practices. Our CIS International Accreditation protocol is based on our CIS Mission, Values and Code of Ethics, adopts the UN Declaration of Human Rights as a clear statement of moral purpose and incorporates the recommendations of the International Child Protection Task Force.
ECIS (European Council of International schools)
European Council of International Schools
ECIS is an organization founded in 1965, which organizes annual general congresses of 3000 educators, provides professional assistance and consultancy services for the professional development of teachers.
Our school applied to this organization in order to have an international standard and was accepted as a full member on 06 December 1996.
Erasmus Plus Projects :
The Erasmus+ Program is the EU's grant program in the fields of education, youth and sport. It supports education, training, internships, professional development, non-formal learning based youth activities abroad and cooperation between institutions. The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) enables volunteering, solidarity and networking activities in projects that benefit society.
EYP (European Youth Parliament)
European Youth Parliament: The European Youth Parliament (EYP) is a civil society initiative that encourages European youth to become politically aware and responsible, independent-minded and tolerant citizens.
Founded in 1987 in a high school in Fontainebleau, France, the initiative has grown rapidly into a network organized in 40 European countries.
Approximately 40,000 young people participate in EYP's activities every year. EYP Turkey has been part of the EYP network since 1999 and became a legal entity in 2011 under the name European Youth Parliament Association.
The aim of EYP is to support the personal development of young people in Europe through non-formal and peer-oriented educational activities and to provide opportunities to develop their skills in different fields.
International Youth Award
The International Youth Award-Turkey, the world's leading youth achievement Award, prepares young people for life by creating committed world citizens whose experiences can be combined with their skills.
FULBRIGHT (Turkish-American Cultural Agreement) Teacher exchange programs
The Fulbright Education Commission of Turkey began its work within the framework of the bilateral agreement signed between Turkey and the United States of America in 1949 and the Law No. 5596 dated March 13, 1950 passed by the Turkish Grand National Assembly. The Commission supports Turkish and American university graduates, academics, artists and public officials with scholarships covering education, living and travel expenses and provides educational counseling services to Turkish students who wish to study in the United States. Our Commission was established to foster a common understanding between the Turkish and American peoples through education and cultural exchange.
Active participation in Rotary Club Long Term Student Exchange Programs
Rotary's programs train the next generation of leaders, raise funds to make the world a better place, and make peace a priority. Students learn a new language, explore another culture and truly become citizens of the world. Student exchanges for students aged 15-19 are supported by Rotary clubs in more than 100 countries.
AFS Intercultural Programs
AFS began its exchange programs in 1947 with the initiative of volunteers who believed that world peace could be achieved through relationships between people of different cultures, breaking down prejudices and increasing tolerance and intercultural understanding.
Today, AFS Intercultural Programs is a worldwide network of students, families, friends and volunteers committed to intercultural learning experiences and is the world leader in Intercultural Student Exchange. Since 1947, more than 380,000 participants have benefited from AFS's vast experience, support system and credibility.
Students participating in AFS Long Term Exchange programs stay with volunteer families in a different country for a year while attending high school and, with the help of orientation and counseling provided by AFS, become part of an extraordinary intercultural learning and exchange experience that cannot be offered in any classroom setting or textbook.
