Our Education Model

Marmara Education Institutions Istanbul Private Marmara Kindergarten has been authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization in the PYP (Primary Years Program) application and has gained IB World School status. Within the framework of this program, we aim to support children's academic and socio-emotional development in a balanced way and prepare them for higher education. Our goal is to raise individuals who are inquisitive, inquisitive, knowledgeable, thoughtful, able to communicate effectively, principled, open-minded, sensitive and risk-taking.

We adopt a reliable, dynamic and contemporary education model with Atatürk's principles and reforms. Our school offers an educational program suitable for children's developmental levels, interests and needs. The “Active Learning Method”, which emphasizes scientific knowledge, gives importance to artistic and cultural activities and supports creativity, is applied with full-time English education.

In our school, which is intertwined with nature, the “Tiny Theme and Eco-Schools” program is implemented to provide environmental awareness, environmental management, climate-compatible and sustainable development education.

Within the scope of the program, homes are reached through various projects, contributing to the formation of greener communities. The implementation of the program provides students with habits that they will use throughout their lives and will affect their success, as well as the environment.

Our school implements the “Second Step - Supporting Social and Emotional Skills Program” which aims to provide problem solving, emotion and stress management, empathic thinking and reflection on behavior, communication, healthy self-perception and self-regulation skills.

The Mathazone Mathematics program, which we implement through interactive methods, supports children's different learning styles and the development of their abilities through play techniques that integrate drama and story work with the characters in the program by offering creative sections that combine music, art, games, science and emotions with mathematics.

Our school organizes socially supportive branch lessons and activities for age groups. These include swimming, tennis, music, physical education, folk dances, chess, ballet and drama. In addition, celebrations of specific days and weeks, end-of-year festivals and social-cultural activities are also organized. All these activities help students develop their social skills and discover their different talents.

In our school, various guidance and social emotional learning activities are organized to develop children's social skills and emotional intelligence. These activities are designed to help our students develop important skills such as empathy, self-esteem, healthy relationships with others and emotional awareness.

Our school offers guidance services to address the emotional and psychological needs of children. Our counselors, who are experts in their fields, support students in coping with emotional difficulties, developing self-esteem and self-expression. In addition, in cooperation with teachers and parents, children's social adaptation processes are also guided and solutions are produced in accordance with the individual needs of each child.
