Our Education Model

Kocaeli Marmara College Kindergarten is an education model based on the principles of “Inventive, Nature-Based and Play-Based Learning”, which is based on the basic phenomenon of our preschool education system, learning through discovery and out-of-class learning environments, all activities are interconnected in a spiral structure and are realized within certain themes.

We are moving forward with an education program that aims to provide children with sub-learning outcomes by taking into account the cognitive and kinesthetic effects of learning by doing, discovering and moving, organizes their learning and teaching experiences in the fields of Turkish, mathematics, science, movement, health, music and art according to individual differences and similarities, and as a result, adopts the principle of increasing their cognitive, social and emotional, health and language development, and develops and protects their metacognitive thinking skills.

As an add-on to our education program, we meticulously implement branch lessons, “Second Step” and “Mathazone” programs that support the developmental areas of children for age groups. These include physical education, gymnastics, swimming, music, dance, chess, drama, fun science and visual arts. We also organize celebrations of specific days and weeks, end-of-year events and social and cultural activities.

Based on the fact that children need to develop their social and emotional skills as well as their academic processes throughout their education life, we also aim to provide them with problem solving, emotion and stress management, empathic thinking and reflection on behavior, communication and relationship management, healthy self-perception and self-regulation skills by implementing the “Second Step Social and Emotional Skills Support Program”. With the Mathazone program, we aim to help children better understand mathematical concepts in a concrete way and improve their problem-solving skills through interactive methods.

All these activities help students develop their social skills and discover their different talents.
