As Private Marmara Primary and Secondary School, our educational philosophy is to raise self-confident, happy and sensitive individuals who are Kemalist, recognize their own culture and other cultures, research, question and find solutions to questions.

One of our most important goals is to raise our students as successful and sought-after individuals not only in their communities but also on the international platform.

In addition to the acquisitions and academic equipment required by the national curriculum to achieve our goals, international programs are also included to contribute to the personal development of our students. Our school, which is a member of the World Council of Schools (CIS), carries out accreditation studies to provide world-class education. With this in mind, our institution implements the PYP (Primary Years) Program of the International Baccalaureate Organization, which aims to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect, aims to raise young people who are inquisitive-questioning, wise, principled, balanced, critical thinkers, communicative, sensitive, risk-taking, transformational thinkers and sets out with the philosophy of “Education for Life”. Private Marmara Kindergarten and Private Marmara Primary School were authorized in the PYP branch on October 8, 2014 and gained the status of “IB World School”.

Believing that knowing a foreign language is an important tool in reaching universal values and raising world citizens, Private Marmara Primary and Secondary School has been participating in Cambridge University Language proficiency exams since its establishment. Every year, our schools demonstrate their assertion and success in foreign language teaching by achieving results well above both Istanbul and Turkey averages.
