Our Achievements in the District Chess Tournament

Our teams competing in different days and categories in the “Maltepe School Sports District Chess Tournament” held between June 4 - 7, 2024 achieved great success.

Competing in the 3rd and 4th grade general category, our team consisting of Kaan Yalabık, Aren Çınar Şahin, Selim Artıakraskan came 4th in the team, while our girls' team consisting of Sophia Cılga (also first in the girls' individual category) Melisa Makalainen (also second in the girls' individual category) Sadem Madan (also fourth in the girls' individual category) Elif Erturan, competing in the girls' category of the same grades, came 1st in the team.

Competing in the 5th and 6th grade category, our team consisting of Gani Mecit Karabağlı, Metahan Zaimoğlu, Ayşe Cansın Madan (also second in the girls' individual category) and Kerem Er took 3rd place.

Competing in the 7th and 8th grade category, our team consisting of Halil Efe Alp, Sarper Efe Arslan, Mert Angın, Muhammed İkbal Sağlam won the 1st place in the team, while 4 players of our team won the first four places of the district in the individual ranking.
